Conor McGregor Acts Like A Reality TV Hooligan Instead of MMA Champion

Conor McGregor desperate for attention and looking for headlines decided to attack a UFC bus with several people on it that had nothing to do with his beef with Kabib Nurmagomedov. Several people were injured and McGregor was arrested and taken to jail. Several of the UFC 223 fights were affected not only by McGregor’s hooliganism but by Tony Ferguson’s freak injury and his subsequent replacement Max Holloway who could not cut weight safely.

The UFC returns to the Big Apple after a long absence due to union contract issues that Dana White was not going to pay. Endorsing Donald Trump and White’s speaking at the Republican National Convention, may have been the key to New York and the UFC repairing their feud over the union issues. Money talks eventually.

After a century of being a popular sport in America, football is finally taking brain trauma/concussions seriously. When you think about being hit by a person weighing upwards of two hundred pounds whose sole purpose is to violently take you down with a tackle, it is logical that your head would experience significant trauma after multiple hits. The NFL under much pressure has pledged $100 million in concussion research. Promising to do research and actually making changes are two different things.
